Specific Duties

• Responsible for developing, directing and executing the company’s sales strategy • Develop and outgrow the financial and operating performance targets through market insights, strategy development, effective business planning and execution; contribute to the strategic planning process. • Demonstrate the ability to think strategically, anticipate future consequences and treads, set priorities, and make smart decisions to help achieved agreed upon goals. • Take a major role in key account relationships, closing complex deals and building ongoing relationships. • Working as a ‘player/coach’ the VP of Sales and Marketing will drive top line results while building an effective and scalable outside sale, inside sales and lead generation organization • Instill an action-orientated, entrepreneurial, flexible, and innovative approach to the Sales & Marketing Management. • Hire, train, organize and effectively deploy a high performing sales organization. Architect the team ensuring that it has the resources, processes and operational capabilities by which to outperform and scale. • Develop and execute an annual Sales and Marketing budget; set Sales and Marketing direction for key deliverables (KPI’s – identified and utilized) and customer product deliveries (in line with cost, and quality). • Build, manage, develop, motivate, and lead a technically competent and flexible Sales and Marketing organization. • Remain abreast of the industry, competitors and trends. • Maintain a strategic view of the markets by building key relationships with customers, suppliers and, where appropriate, with competitors. • Lead the drive to communicate, collaborate and share best Sales and Marketing practices. • Directs and coordinates activities of the department(s) or division for which they are responsible for further attainment of goals and objectives. • Reviews the analyses of sales and operational activities, expenditures/costs vs. forecast data to determine department or division progress toward stated goals and objectives. • Adapt business model to capitalize on evolving customer needs and new competitive offerings. • Assist with corporate positioning and competitive analysis, customer segment selection and penetration plans, and related product positioning. • Confers with their direct manager, President, Chief Financial Officer or General Manager and other administrative personnel to review achievements and discuss required changes in goals or objectives as a result of current status and conditions. • Serves as member of management committees on special studies. • Develops and implements strategic sales plans to accommodate office(s) goals. • Directs sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly. • Reviews market analyses to determine client needs, price schedules, and discount rates. • Directs staffing, training, and performance evaluations to ensure that all departments or the division they are responsible for, meets or exceed its goals. • Directs development activity and coordinates sales planning by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals. • Negotiates client contracts and work agreements. • Delivers sales presentations to key clients in coordination with Account Executives. • Meets with key clients, assisting Account Executives in maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals. • Meets sales goals and controls expenditures of their department(s) or division to conform to budgetary requirements. • Prepares periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion. • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

Experience required: Over 5 years

Full time permanent position

32-40 hours per week

Wage: $105,000.00 to $110,000.00 / year
